Atlantic is one of the world’s largest producers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) with an established reputation as a safe and reliable operator.
In 2004 Atlantic launched its Operator Trainee Programme with the aim of providing young individuals within Trinidad and Tobago with an opportunity to develop the requisite knowledge and competence for becoming Process Operators within the Energy Sector.
This 18-month programme focuses on the development of young people, who will receive Gas Plant Theory Training at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) and at Atlantic for a period of six (6) months. The successful completion of the Operator Trainee Programme leads to participants earning the competence-based, regionally recognised Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) in Process Plant Operations from the National Training Agency of Trinidad and Tobago.
