Donnie is the Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago, where he is responsible for leading the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of one of the country’s most critical energy assets. He brings over three decades of experience across both upstream and downstream oil and gas operations, with deep expertise in engineering, maintenance, operations, and safety. Throughout his career, Donnie has built a strong track record in operational excellence and leadership in complex, high-performance industrial environments. Prior to joining Atlantic, he served as Senior Vice President, Safety & Operational Risk Assurance (S&ORA) at bp, where he was responsible for strengthening safety performance and risk management across global operations. Donnie has held several senior leadership roles within bp, including positions at the Texas City Refinery, Decatur Petrochemicals, Alaska Exploration & Production, and the Whiting Refinery. His leadership is grounded in a commitment to safety, reliability, and the delivery of sustained value. As Chief Executive Officer, Donnie is a strong advocate for a people-centred approach that enables Atlantic’s people to perform at their best, in support of the sustainable development of Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector and wider economy.
