Atlantic is one of the world’s largest producers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) with an established reputation as a safe and reliable operator.
A strong supply chain provides benefits for the entire energy industry.
Fostering sustainability across the supply chain
Atlantic remains committed to strengthening our relationship with suppliers as their growth and success ultimately helps fuel ours. Through our Contractor Management Programme (CMP), we have developed standards around contractor performance and mutually agreed expectations and goals. This programme continues to benefit from initiatives including Performance Management Meetings, pre-qualification audits with feedback and coaching sessions, and contractor KPI monitoring, especially around high-risk activities. The result is a greater alignment between our expectations and contractor performance.
Reinforcement of our values around safety within our service provider network is done through bi-monthly business and safety meetings. These meetings foster communication and underscore a culture of consultation and honest feedback throughout our supplier network. These meetings have developed into an excellent forum for the sharing of best practice, and innovative solutions for improving our business partnerships. Our Safety Leadership Awards serves to recognise persons across our supply chain who continue to demonstrate safety leadership.
Atlantic became the first operator in the local oil and gas sector to achieve Safe-To-Work (STOW) certification – a certification based on rigorous international best practice around safety. We remain committed to the STOW certification throughout our supply chain, and it continues to underscore our vision of ‘Goal Zero’ – zero harm, zero injuries and zero repeat incidents throughout our organization and service provider network.
