With more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the global energy industry, Lydia Balogun-Wilson serves as Director – Production at Atlantic, bringing a proven track record of delivering safe, reliable and efficient operations. Her career spans the United Kingdom, the North Sea, Africa and the Caspian region, where she has led complex offshore and onshore operations, engineering, safety, operational transformation and asset performance. Prior to joining Atlantic, Lydia served as bp’s Regional Engineering Authority for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye. With an MSc in Petroleum Engineering, she is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE) and Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), and is recognised for advancing operational excellence, strengthening safety cultures, developing high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
