Frank takes Arima Boys to East title

All-rounder Kerron Frank was in fine form with both bat and ball, as he led his school Arima Boys to the St. George East title in the Atlantic National Primary Schools Cricket League last Thursday (May 12).

Frank proved a handful with the ball, as TML batting first could muster only 121/8 in 20 overs. The game was reduced to a 20-over affair due to lights, as the game was played as a day/night affair in Arima.

Abdul Raheem Juman was the best of the batsmen for TML getting 19 runs, as Frank ended with figures of 4/19 from his four overs. When Arima Boys began their chase of the winning target they lost early wickets but Frank came in to stabilise the innings with 43. He took his team to 122 for five with one over to spare.

On the girls side, Bamboo Government Primary took the honours as they clipped Febeau Government by 24 runs at Bamboo No. Three. Batting first, Bamboo Government made 87 all out. This looked as easy target for Febeau but the Bamboo bowlers were on spot and routed them for just 63 runs.
