Seepersad takes Lochmaben RC into Atlantic semis

 

 

A great all-round performance from Shiva Seepersad has extended the fairytale run of Lochmaben RC in the Atlantic National Primary Schools Cricket League.

The boys from South defeated Sangre Grande Hindu by nine wickets, sending a signal that they are in it, to win it. Batting first, Sangre Grande scored 96 for six of 25 overs with Seepersad snaring 3/20. He then anchored the Lochmaben batting in scoring 14 and together with Matthew Sookoo 12, took their school to an impressive 98 for one.

In another quarter-final clash, St. Joseph TML fell by 10 wickets to a focused Preysal Government. St. Joseph TML batted first, but found runs almost impossible to come by. They were routed for 39. Preysal then responded with 40 without loss as David Kissoondath with 17 showed his hand.
