Michael Daniel is the Director – Major Capital Projects at Atlantic, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in the energy industry across upstream, midstream, and low-carbon sectors. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of medium- and large-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with global best practice performance standards.

Michael’s distinguished career includes the successful execution of major projects in Trinidad and Houston, such as bpTT’s TROC, Beachfield Upgrade, Matapal, and Cassia Compression. Most recently, as Project General Manager for bp’s New Energy division in London, he led the development of green hydrogen hub projects in Australia, Oman, and Egypt.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. His expertise and leadership will be instrumental in supporting Atlantic’s pursuit of best-in-class performance. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, staying active, and travelling.
