Atlantic’s Role in the Energy Transition

Chief Executive Officer, Ronald Adams and Jean Andre Celestain, Chief Operating Officer of LNG producer Atlantic, will be among the distinguished presenters at the upcoming Energy Conference from May 31 to June 2 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The company’s participation in this year’s conference themed “Leveraging the industry’s strengths for the energy transition,” will allow participants to gain insights on the pivotal role Atlantic is poised to play in the energy transition, and its intent to leverage its recently renewed corporate strategy to maximize value in the local LNG value chain. Atlantic is a long-standing incumbent with twenty-three years of core LNG expertise. The company’s Leadership Team has charted a strategic roadmap to leverage Atlantic’s distinct competitive advantage to provide the world with access to a commodity that has been widely acknowledged as central to the global energy shift towards cleaner energy sources.

“Over the years, Atlantic has upheld a long-standing commitment to play a substantial role in enabling the economic and social betterment of Trinidad & Tobago” said Chief Executive Officer Adams. “This new global thrust for energy transition presents Atlantic with an excellent opportunity to play its role to bolster Trinidad & Tobago’s continued economic growth, and to create value for all of our stakeholders and the communities we serve at both the local and national level through the safe, reliable production of LNG” he added.

On June 2, CEO Adams is scheduled to participate in the closing panel reflecting on the major themes and ideas that arise during the overall conference discussions, while on June 1, COO Celestain will be involved in the panel discussion that narrows in on a theme fundamental to Atlantic’s renewed strategy: “Natural Gas and the Energy Transition.” Among Atlantic’s presenters will also be Vashtie Ramsaran-Baball, Manager, Strategy and Optimization, who will participate in the Next Generation Leaders Panel on May 31, discussing current challenges and views on navigating the energy transition inclusive of adopting new ways of working to align with future trends.

Atlantic will also host the Delegate and Media lounge for the conference, and visitors to its booth will have a chance to learn more about Atlantic, how LNG is made and how its product continues to create value for Trinidad & Tobago.
