At Atlantic, Chris Sookram is currently Director – Productions, responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to promote operational excellence in LNG production and marine operations. His goal is to deliver business competitiveness and achieve sustainable reductions in carbon emissions.

With almost two decades experience in technical and leadership positions at Atlantic, Chris has built expertise in engineering, operational excellence and people development.

During his time at Atlantic, he has been involved in all aspects of the business, including providing support for startup and shutdown activities, and leading various high-profile projects. He has also overseen the Mission Critical Operator workstream across multiple assets, focusing on enhancing operating discipline, an initiative he continues to champion at Atlantic. Demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, Chris actively drives efforts to continually reduce Atlantic’s carbon footprint.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of the West Indies and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. He is motivated by technical challenges, thrives in addressing complex situations, and values diversity in team efforts.
